Marta Pérez Garcia

Printmaker. Grand Prize at the XIII Bienal de San Juan del Grabado Latinoamericano y del Caribe (2001) of the Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña. MA from the Tyler School of Arts, Philadelphia, PA and West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV (1993). BA with a major in printmaking from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA (1987). Professor at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, Arecibo campus in 1994; Faculty Member of Sacred Heart University (2002-2003); Assistant Printmaking Professor at Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia, PA (1991-92). Assistant Printmaking Professor at West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV (1989). She is currently residing in Paris, France on an Alfonso Arana Foundation Scholarship.
